The weather threatened to disrupt our visit from Old Albanian on Sunday, although, as it turned out, the heaviest clouds stayed away and the cricket was all the better for it.

A loss of the toss meant we were asked to field. Ben and debutant Rahul P opened the bowling and Rahul was rewarded for a good spell as he claimed an early scalp, caught by Issa. All our bowlers were impressive and wickets were lost at regular intervals, whilst runs proved hard to come by. Our visitors ended their innings at 87-8 with the wickets shared amongst six of our bowlers. As well as Rahul (1-5), Vivaan was the pick with 2-2 off his two overs, with the other wicket takers being, Dylan J (2-14), Adi (1-5), Raoul (1-5) and Harry (1-20). Coby was also unlucky not to get a wicket in his spell of 0-6. Decent catches were taken by Vivaan and Dylan, as well as Issa picking up a second one for the innings, and Rahul took an outstanding low catch at cover point.

As for the batting, despite Harry managing to run himself out, we had no alarms in comfortably reaching the target. Oliver played some nice shots for his 19 and it was left to Luke S & Adi to bat sensibly in an unbeaten stand of 55. Luke finished on 23* and Adi 20*. An all round efficient performance from the boys.

M.O.M. Adi had a fine game and Vivaan certainly deserved it for his best bowling of the season, but Dylan J took his first wickets for Radlett and topped off an excellent performance with a lovely catch at midwicket, so he is the player this week to claim the accolade
