Wow, what a season! We've played an exciting 20 matches, winning 16 and losing four. Despite a rocky start with two losses, we bounced back to finish second in Group 3 and first in Group 4.

The real highlight of the season was the teamwork and sportsmanship displayed by all our players. Every single one of our over 35 players contributed to the team's success, and it was amazing to see them support and encourage each other throughout the season.

There were some truly memorable wins, like our thrilling victory over Old Albanians, where our bowlers fought back to secure a stunning victory against all the odds (the DVD is out next week)... and who can forget our nail-biting win over Bushey, where Otto M showed incredible composure to steer us to victory?!

We had plenty of standout performers throughout the season. Harry S smashed our highest score of the season with 37 against Enfield. Jordan was on fire with 31 against North Enfield, 30 against Enfield and 26 against St Albans. Aaron P also scored close to thirty on two occasions, showcasing his batting prowess and Albert consistently always produced runs when the team needed it... and who can forget Harry T's trademark sixes against Tring 2 to put us into the 5/6 playoff...

Our bowlers were equally impressive, with Veer leading the charge. His incredible hat-trick and 6/6 against Old Albanians was truly remarkable. Albert, Aiden, Zac, Rian, Arin and Harry S provided excellent support throughout the season, taking crucial wickets and helping the team succeed.

Meanwhile catch of the season has to go to Harry H against West Herts.. the ball was literally passed him as he flung himself to his right to complete an extraordinary catch... whereas keeping spirits high out on the field and ensuring everyone was motivated has to go to Jonah.

You can now view each player's runs scored on the stats page of our website. And if your child wants to know their individual bowling stats, I'll ask Jordan to do some extra homework to compile them!

And as a side note, although the software doesn't let me show it, special mention to Caleb who averaged over a 100 this season (truly Bradmanesque!) and comfortably topped the averages for runs against times out.

A huge thank you to all the players, parents (in particular Pat Short who without him some of the games would never have happened), and coaches for an incredible season. We can't wait to see what next season brings (and yes I am all in for next season if everyone will put up with me!)
