Getting off to a flyer with openers Archie Harrison and Peter Hatzoglou blasting 46 off 3.2 overs before the later was caught for 31. Archie batted beautifully to score a 'Man of the Match' award winning, 110. Useful contributions from Dom Chatfield (31) and Fraser Crawford (17) saw us reach a very useful 210-5.

In reply, Stortford could only muster 150 against some tight bowling with YP player, Suhaan Sukovar, taking 3 wickets.

In the other semi final Harpenden just about edged out Broxbourne by 7 runs.

So in the final, Harpenden won the toss and decided to bat but lost wickets regularly to some good bowling, making 130 all out, with Peter Hatzoglou taking 3-13 and Archie Harrison 2-22.

When Radlett batted, runs did not come easily early on against two fine bowlers, Harpenden's overseas player, Liam Dudding and Chad Barrett. Radlett reached 75-4, when captain, Dom Chatfield, was caught brilliantly on the legside boundary but an excellent 55 run partnership between Dave Burnell and new recruit Jack Plom saw us home with 2 balls to spare.

Dom Chatfield collected the trophy and a £1,000 winners cheque from Hertfordshire League Chairman, Tony Johnson, with Peter Hatzoglou awarded the Man of the Tournament trophy for his wickets, miserly run rate and batting.
