Bringing Radlett Back to Life

Over the past year, we’ve made great strides in restoring and improving our club’s facilities, with a strong focus on honouring our heritage while giving everything a fresh, contemporary lift.

Main Pavilion

Following last year’s internal repaint to a modern light grey, we’ve now extended this colour scheme to the upper middle section of the main room, up to roof height. This not only brightens the space but provides the perfect backdrop for our revitalised club memorabilia displays. Huge thanks to Tom Jenkins and our dedicated team of club officials for their tireless efforts in bringing the pavilion back to life.

We’ve begun reinstating key pieces of Radlett history, and the space is beginning to feel like "the Radlett of old" – with a modern twist. New shelving, trophy displays, and re-framed pictures now adorn the pavilion. A highlight will be our new player gallery, celebrating those who’ve progressed to the professional game. Signed shirts from Josh de Caires and Noah Cornwell will soon be displayed above the bar, with more potentially on the way from Joe Cooke, Gareth Berg and Shane Burger.

Externally, the pavilion has had a thorough freshening-up ahead of the new season – from jet-washed patios and newly painted railings to a spring clean of the nets. We’re also looking ahead to a broader exterior redecoration project ahead of the 2026 season.

Lower Ground Pavilion

We’re pleased to announce that we received a grant of £4,840 from Aldenham Parish Council to help fund vital internal improvements. New toilet cubicles and modesty walls have been installed in both changing rooms, and the showers have been refurbished. The building has also undergone a deep clean, with guttering repairs scheduled before the season begins.
