Special praiset though for Tom Hicks who came in late and fielded like a demon

The result has been decided by the League and Radlett win.
The game was fought very hard in atrocious conditions and I am not talking just about the wind but the pitch, the lack of sightscreens, the home from home was desolate and not suitable for the standard of cricket. Having said that what a game from both sides.

The rain rule ruined the game as this is always going to help the side batting second. With scoring proving difficult all day it is very easy to go in for 3 overs and thrash 25 but you cant keep this up.
The league has to find a better way to help the rain rule.

Cockfosters and Radlett players must take enormous credit for the way they both played in very difficult conditions.
