Radlett CC Legacy - Redhawks Indoor v Hemel Hempstead B on Sun 01 Nov 2009 at 11-12 pm
Radlett CC Lost by 6 runs

Match report Radlett Willows were extremely unlucky to lose this game. Batting first, opening pair HA & KG put on 56 runs for 2 wickets in 4 overs, Hayley Arrol making a personal best score of 45 runs. Second pair SB & JB added a further 35 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets and final pair HS & LP were pressured by good bowling from the HH youngsters to put on on just 14 runs (7 in extras) for the loss of 1 wicket.
Radlett worked hard in the field and held HH to score just 96 runs (compared to 114 scored by Radlett), extras were twice as high as HH.
An error on the scoreboard may have led Willows to let their heads go down too early, an extra 10 runs appeared on the board but was not identified until after the game (corrected score below still gave the win to HH). Tight bowling from HA in the last over ensured that no runs were scored off the bat.
Willows were unlucky and will use this expereince to focus their game for the rest of the league.
