Travelling to one of the more local grounds Matt Rose's Embryos and twenty somethings were looking to win the Division 2B league against traditionally difficult to beat opponents.
Matt won the toss and yes you guessed correctly inserted the opposition in this 11.30 start.
Ross has the new cherry and he and Koby will fight it out for the leading wicket taker in the league with Koby on 35 and Ross on 31 before today. Chippy strikes first when Ashish Padki is taken very smartly from a full blooded drive which William Wright held onto brilliantly.

Sembian and the dogged Palmer are rebuilding but slowly as Koby ties them up with a fabulous spell of 6 overs for 10 before being withdrawn by the ECB regulations. with Ross snaring Palmer with an abolute ripper. Roscoe then gets allowed to carry on and bowl his 10 and he bowls Taylor with an inducker that was not played and he got Will to hang on again to Baylis's skier.

After 19 overs its 54 for 4 with all 4 to Ross and its 35 each in the wicket stakes.
Thw Wiz has beenquick and tidy as Troy gets the ball and immediately gets a wicket when Hughes smashes a ball straight at Tej at cover point. 2 balls later its 54 for 6 as Dinith K is well held by Abhijay who is fast making it very difficult to leave him out of the first choice XI.
Enter the Wiz as his fellow Sri Lankan Premarathne skies one and Neel MAlde avoids the TFC. Next ball brother Tej makes another good grab and The Wiz is on a hat trick. We wait and the Wiz runs in and bowls a BLOODY wide. REsts himself and its a 3rd wicket in the over as PAdkhi senior is LBW.
Drinks are taken as Luke Owers has not arrived as his football coaching didnt expect his to be batting by 12.40. Matt says lets take an elongated drinks break and Luke arrives changes pads up and is soon walking back as he is ct by Troy for the Wiz 4th wicket. 63 all out in 23 .2 overs.

SOme fantastic catches taken some good bowling some unusaula bowling with Ross giving away 12 wides.
Yash PAtel was helping Matt in the captaincy stakes and made some astute moves.

An actual tea was had and thank you to POtters Bar for this.

Abhijay and Matt strode out after food and bang first ball hit for 4. Basically whoevr bowled was pummelled and Matt - Do you know that my average is 54.44444444 which is basically 54.5 which is therefore 55 which means its nearly 60!!!!. Nice try MAtt but you still aint gping to be Man of the Match.
Matt and Abhijay are matching each other run for run and its a surprise when Abhijayis LBW.

Will enters the fray with 6 needed to win and to protect his red ink he pats the ball back 3 times. Matt hits a 6 to win the game and WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS and we hear that there has been a downpour at Radlett and this arrives for 10 minutes just after we finish.
