Match report
THE GAME OF THE FIRST TEAM SCORER SLUMMING IT
I was unavailable for this game and Jon kindly agreed to score for the 2's, in a local derby with Kings Langley.
Despite missing 5 regular 2's players the team selected looked strong and allowed people to make a claim for a permanent place in the team, although the events of Injury City on Saturday at Radlett may take a few players away. I arrived at the ground and KL were 70 odd for 5 but I saw the second half of the innings in which Andrew Burnell batted well trying to match the exploits of his brother the day before. Langston batted really well and Smith provided late support as KL closed at 166 for 9. Good bowling by Ross, Try and The Wiz was backed up by Geoffrey burgling 3 wickets. The 3 young guns bowled well but with no luck.
I left and am now in the hands of Jon
It seems Jasdeep was imperious in a weekend of big scores by many Radlett players and he gets 100 and out with a little collapse England style before Troy and a restrained Jonny see RCC through to a good win.
Lets keep the momentum going as we end up in the second half of the season. Matt may have selection headaches but that is a good thing and a bad thing.
