Letchworth v Radlett CC Women's Super 8's on Sun 19 Aug 2012 at 13.00
Radlett CC Won by 9 wickets

Match report This was Radlett's best and most satisfying performance of the season, as they crushed Letchworth by 9 wickets on a scorching Summer's day. Radlett's bowling was sensational. Anja Vadgama and Natasha Martin bowled with pace and penetration, while the quartet of spinners gave nothing away and posed a constant threat. Skipper Katie Pankhurst starred with career best figures of 4 for 6, but the whole bowling and fielding unit deserves immense credit for the performance.

Despite losing Anje Lague to a dubious Lbw decision early in the subsequent run chase, Alexis Mannion and Louise Verroken-Jones never looked troubled as they guided Radlett home with 30 overs to spare.

There is just one word needed to sum up this result ... clinical!
