Welcome to Radlett Cricket Club

We need players – of all ages and abilities!

We can offer something for players of all abilities, from those who aspire to play at the highest level through to those who may wish for a more social game.

Moreover, the facilities are second-to-none, with two home pitches side-by-side and a fantastic pavilion that was rebuilt just six years ago. So, for playing, or just watching, cricket and for a place to socialise, you need look no further!

Men’s Senior Cricket

There are four men’s teams playing on Saturdays in the Saracen’s Herts League.

The 1st XI play at the highest level possible in the County and regularly challenge for the title. The side is led by all-rounder Kabir Toor. Note that, despite all this success, there is still plenty of room for aspiring cricketers in the team, of whatever age, with a number of places “up for grabs” in the side.

For those aspiring to play a high standard of cricket, but who perhaps can’t make the 1st XI, it is worth noting that the 2nd XI play most of their matches (in Division 2B) against other clubs’ first teams.

But whilst it is great to be able to offer the highest standard of cricket, the health of the Club depends greatly on its playing strength lower down. And here there is a good spread of opportunities, with Radlett 3rd XI playing in Division 5B and the 4th XI in Division 6B.

On Sundays, we have two teams playing in the Chess Valley League, plus our 1st XI will again be playing in the Saracens League T20 competition. The "Radlett Renegades" are once again entered in the national U19 T20 competition.

Club nets, for all those playing senior cricket at whatever level, take place every Tuesday, from 6pm-8pm.

Women’s Senior Cricket
Regrettably, we do not currently have a women's team.

Junior Cricket
Sunday mornings see over 200 boys and girls at the Club benefiting from professionally organised coaching. During the week, teams from U9 through to U15 play age-group league cricket in their respective leagues, including girls U12 matches.

During the summer holidays, cricket courses are run, led by our professional coaches. Youngsters can sign up for the full week, or just the odd day.

During the close season, we run our Winter Academy programme, providing quality indoor coaching for our Young Players.

Helping Out
Without volunteers, we have no cricket. We would welcome any offers of help – umpiring, scoring, catering, bar work, groundwork – the list is endless. In fact, we will pay scorers and umpires, so why not combine watching cricket with earning some pocket money?

We are one of the most successful clubs in Hertfordshire, but cater for all abilities and ages.

In 2018, Radlett CC hosted the Middlesex v Kent & Essex RL50 matches.

August 2013: Australia’s women’s team leaves the field after beating England A in a pre-Ashes warm-up match at Radlett.

A great place just to come for a drink and a relax.
