To all members.
Six hours away from the end of a year that most of us wish we had not had to go through, so we must start to prepare for our vaccination that will allow us to get on with our lives again.
One thing we intend to work on is our communication with you all and keep you up to date with whenever or whatever is going on at the club by whichever media platform you use, which has not been easy over the last nine months.
However, with half a cricket season, a brand-new cricket nets system generously funded by a club family, a grant from Hertsmere, and an enterprising pizza take-away business making use of the pavilion while it has not been available to us, we have managed to keep things running.
We will be announcing the date of the AGM very shortly, and it still looks like it will have to be via Zoom, but I imagine most of us are now used to that. We also have to hold the final two runs of the 200 club for 2020, so ten lucky winners will be notified as soon as we have the names.
Thank you to all of you who helped us get through the truncated cricket season while the chance was there, and I look forward to happier and safer times ahead, both on and off the field.
A very happy new year to you all.
