Match report After a successful spell of 9 victories on the trot it was decided we would
try an A team in a friendly at Balls Park.
Radlett won the toss and went into bat, we got off to a poor start when
Rishi Nadoo was run out stupidly for 0. Tom Kelly and Doward Anwar took up
the calls, Anwar getting caught for no runs, Kelly went on to score 9
partnered by U12 Sharn Radia who making his second appearance of the season
scored 8 runs before being bowled. Kelly was caught for 9, Satchin Kotecha
came in and scored 2 runs Anthony Crocker was bowled for 0, then came Dillon
Bashkaran scoring 5 before being bowled. Jack Arrol was bowled for 0 runs,
Manjal Ganatra hit 2 beautiful fours before being bowled, Daniel Cohen took
up the challenge and made a very respectable 8 runs but was not out and for
Rosh Baskaran scored 3 and then he was caught. Radlett started the bowling
very well because this was a bowling team with very little depth in its
batting, Daniel Cohen 4 overs for 21 runs and 1 wicket, Jack Arrol 4 overs
12 runs, R Bashkran 4 overs, 10 runs 2 wickets, M Ganatra 2 overs 16 runs, D
Bashkaran 4 overs, 1 mdns 10 runs for 2 wickets and finally a good 2 overs
by Anthony Crocker 3 runs 1 wicket. This just goes to show it was not a bad
result against an A team with us fielding 5 under 12s.
