Match report Well done to Radlett young lions, this win makes sure that they are promoted for the second time in 3 years, the final match against Harrow will decide who wins the division. All the boys looked in good spirit and up for the game, so Shamit decided to field on a hot sunny day. Eastcote, with the help of some wayward fast bowling of Kushal and Phil, scored freely in the first 12 overs at 6 x over,at which point Shamit decided to reduce the pace, and introduced Tej and Asad who stopped the flow immediatley, Hardain and Shamit followed with some great spin bowling, by this time Radlett fielding was also terrific. Eastcote tried to push on with some 7 wickets in hand, but lost wickets without bothering the score too much, and the final wicket fell on the final ball at 208, after 2 stumpings and 4 run outs. Needing to score ar just 4 x over, Matt and Lloyd started to punish Eastcote bowlers from the very beginning, and when Matt was BOWLED (yes you are reading correctly) in the 8th over, the score was already on 59, Neel joined Lloyd, and both played superbly, with some vintage shots reached the target on the 33rd over, both unbeaten, Lloyd on 116, and Neel on 42. Nobody got TFC this week, all contributed to the win, man of the match must go to Lloyd for his superb knock.
