Match report Radlett fifths picked up their second successive Division 11 win, and their fifth of the season, by bowling out a much-depleted North Mymms IV side for 47 and winning by nine wickets. The whole match was over by 4pm before a blanket of rain settled over the South East.

The Mymms 'home' ground was at Met Police Bushey, a local derby across the road from Radlett's Queens School venue. Fortunately Charlie Randall won the toss, and from that moment Mymms, fielding eight players, were virtually doomed, with only rain likely to save them.
As Radlett had had problems with unavailability all season, one had sympathy for Mymms, and the players who did make themselves available in a hopeless cause deserved praise for helping to honour the fixture.
It was not much of a game. Radlett did not bowl at the stumps enough, though they made steady inroads, the final wicket falling in the 28th over. Sean Fulton made an impressive return after a long absence, but in truth there was not much resistance. Against six outfielders the push for victory was easily achieved by the 14th over, and Radlett could sit down to tea with 30 points in the bag. Promotion remains an outside possibility if the last five matches can be won. Still something to play for.
Last year the fifths won seven games in what was regarded as a good season, so bettering that can certainly be achieved.
