Hatfield Crusaders II v Radlett CC 5th XI on Sat 13 Jun 2009 at 1.30 p.m.
Radlett CC Lost by 8 wickets

Match report A weak fifth team played poorly to lose by eight wickets at Hatfield Crusaders on a lovely sunny day, though the recruitment of Alex Kilhams and Tom Porteous in the morning at least saved Radlett from going into this Division 11 match with nine men after three withdrawals in various teams late on Friday.
Kilhams struck a couple of handsome fours, and Porteous held a sharp slip catch for Radlett's second wicket to make their mark, but Crusaders made light work of chasing an uncompetitive 127 on a sound slow pitch.

When Radlett were put in to bat, Marcus Freeman was bowled unluckily, with the ball rolling back on to his stumps, and a succession of batsmen then offered up their wickets. Tom Clare batted well and Joe Wharton produced some meaty driving and a clipped leg-side six, but both perished in soft dismissals. From 92 for two the inning disintegrated disappointingly, Ender Tahsin ran himself out second ball on his debut innings as wickets tumbled.
