Waltham X Rosedale III v Radlett CC 5th XI on Sat 06 Jun 2009 at 1.30 p.m.
Radlett CC Won by 4 wickets

Match report Radlett V won their first Division 11 match of the summer with a four-wicket win over Waltham Cross Rosedale, taking them towards the middle of the table. The win was more comfortable than the margin might suggest after the home side had been bowled out for 88.
Chasing a modest total on an artificial pitch, Tom Clare and Marcus Freeman took the score to 53 for one before a flurry of wickets, but newcomer Sohaib Rehman and stand-in captain Pete Wharton took Radlett over the line.
The bowling proved excellent, Wharton leading from the front with four wickets. Rehman, though rusty, showed his ability, Ben Lederman was accurate and Jacob Reza, another player on debut, impressed by taking three wickets in his four overs and holding a superb diving slip catch to end the Waltham innings.
On another weekend of poor availability it was gratifying that Brendan Jones travelled out to Essex to help the team out after his Herts League panel umpiring debut was rained off.
