Match report Radlett's Sunday XI recorded their 3rd win on the bounce which saw Radlett record their highest batting total of the season so far.
Radlett again won the toss and elected to bat. Openers Smithers and Robertson got Radlett off to a superb start going at no less than 5 an over. Robertson was then caught and bowled to a superb catch. With J Smithers and D Irwin at the crease who batted supperbly together with Smithers who dispatched anything offline, with Irwin looking solid at the other end. Smithers was finally dismissed for a superb 129. Radlett lost 3 quick wicket including Irwin who batted well for 27. With R.Crocker and A.Tillet at the crease with 8 overs left they put on 77 together and took the score to 265-7, with R.Crocker 51 not out and A.Tillet 13 not out, which finished offa superb batting performance fron the Radlett team.
Radlett took to the field and openers J.Mansell and I.Fraser who were unlucky not to get a wicket with the new ball. The break through came with a SUPERB leg side stumping from the ever present D.Irwin who's lightening reactions suprised everyone. With Tillet taking 2 wickets in quick sucession, Radlett never look like losing. Then with some tight overs from S.Marsh the pressure was one Potten End. S.Gray and O.Robertson then came on to blast way the tail with Robertson taking 1-9, and Gray with 4-13 who was just too good for the Potten End tail enders. Yet again another great team performance from the Radlett XI.
