Match report Radlett suffered a second defeat in a row to last season's champions High Wycombe, putting a dampener on a fine season (so far) for the Cobden Hill outfit. High Wycombe batted first and got away to a blistering start with the HCPCL's top runscorer Eyles driving the ball to the boundary too regularly for Radlett's liking. Burger quickly removed himself and Paynter from the attack and stemmed the run flow via Sandino-Taylor and Barker who picked up a wicket-a-piece to remove the opening pair and set about lowering the scoring rate. Radlett could have then removed dangerman Sawyer but twice let him off the hook and he combined the Cranfield-Thompson and Newell to set Radlett 258 to win. Overall the hosts score was their to be taken down, but Radlett's lacklustre performance in the field was a mark of things to come. None of the top order seemed to be prepared settle in for the long-haul and Radlett were soon in a position that they were never going to get out of. A poor overall performance got them what they deserved and the home side were soon celebrating 25 points with Radlett picking up just four.
