Match report In an exciting run chase Radlett unfortunately fell 12 runs short. Abbots Langley batted first and scored only 41 runs after 11 overs. In the remaining 9 overs, an average bowling and awful fielding was produced by Radlett, and Abbots got 79 runs in the 9 overs. krishnan patel and kieran collopy bowled excellent spells first up, with us picking up a wicket in the second over. Parag Shah and Neil Lederman bowled welll to sart off with, but with some aggresive play by Abbots, Radlett was pushed onto the back foot, and Abbots Langley reached 120 in their 20 overs. Shamit nathwani(19) and Kailash Morjaria(15) started quickly, with17 runs coming from the first 2 overs. However, for the next 10 overs, we only managed 33 runs, putting the game out of our reach. Vishal patel showed some fighting spirit with 18, and Ian Fraser(15) and Matt Soffair(15no), added 30 runs in 3overs late on. However, we eventually fell 12 runs short on 108-6, yet had we fielded as well as them, we would have won.
