Knebworth Park v Radlett CC U9A on Mon 21 Jul 2008 at 6pm
Radlett CC Won 33 runs

Match report Radlett produced some of the best batting of the season to overcome Knebworth in the quarter final. After a nervy opening in which Ben was run out second ball,Radlett regrouped with George thumping some nice drives in his season's highest of 14.Aneesh then also smashed his season's best-a powerful 29 including 4 consecutive boundaries. The innings closed with another PB for Bobby who hit 27 including some fantastic straight drives.
Knebworth bowled well-particularly the opening and last two bowlers and the the boys who were bowled or caught were all got out by good deliveries.

Again,it was not a vintage bowling performance and it all went a little flat in the field when no wicket fell for 7 overs. Finally Shreyas made the breakthrough, swiftly followed by Aneesh and Bobby. The fielding and backing up was excellent and Josh had a direct run out after an earlier near miss.Knebworth ended up well short as our greater strength in depth showed.
A good performance and we now look forward to the semis and ,I hope the final on sunday.
