Match report Ironically although the game was the first loss in 7 games and was by the narrow margin of 8 runs, it was the most competitive fixture of the year and produced a very close finish where we are in the chase still going into the final over. A rather lacklustre performance in the field along with some loose bowling allowed Albanians to get off to a very rapid start reaching 82 for the 1st wicket and in the end a total of 115, due to some good bowling at the end by Tome Blazevski , was a relief as we had looked like conceding 150.
In response we began slowly but good contributions form Zak Osman and Lee Greenland before some late big shots from Jon Ayling and Mark Prestridge almost got us over the line
