Opener Joshua Charles batted very sensibly, scoring 30 before retiring, while George Wickham added valuable acceleration with a hard hit 22, including some trademark straight drives. Pick of the away bowlers was James Prestridge of Radlett, guesting for St Albans along with Hershil Lakhani to ensure 11 against 11. Prestridge took 2-11 from 4 fast and accurate overs. When St Albans batted, Lakhani played his usual sheet anchor role in an opening stand of 28, but wickets fell steadily in the face of fine bowling from Joe Wharton, Billy Beechey and captain Jon Armitage, who took 3-14. Tome Blazevski and Corey Dwyer ensured there was no late recovery and Radlett ran out comfortable winners.
