Match report Radlett III sailed over to Old Finchleans II on Saturday in Division Five hoping to steady the ship and put a few weeks of poor performances behind them. Having won the toss, Radlett skipper Jon Tricker inserted the opposition on a very damp track.

Youngsters Ross Carpenter (2-35) and Josh Rose (2-31) ripped the top order apart with an aggressive display of bowling on a lively wicket, and Chris Brown delivered another fine performance with the ball, capturing figures of 4-18 and limiting the home team to 129 all out.

In reply Radlett got off to a positive start with Giles Mitchell and Paul Windmill seeing off the Old Finchleans opening attacking. The pick of the batting came in the form of Charles Randall (32 not out) and Richard "The Gold" Hardy (63 not out), who together put on an impressive 100 run partnership to see Radlett reach the allotted target with eight wickets remaining. With only two league games remaining, Radlett III's must win both games to have any chance of promotion this year.
