Radlett lost the toss. Shenley elected to bat first. Very tight bowling from the openers Maanal and Rikin, as a result Shenley scored only 17 of 8 overs.
However Shenley accelerated in the last 12 overs and finished at 123 runs with the loss of only 1 wicket taken from a good catch by Navin. Newcomer Joshua fielded particularly well.

On the batting front Radlett scored 105 but with the loss of 7 wickets. Only 2 boys got double figures with Rikin scoring 44 runs and Maanal scoring 19 runs not out.

Overall loss was only by 18 runs which is not bad considering Shenley's dominance of County boys.
