Radlett CC U9A v Tring Park on Fri 16 May 2008 at 6.00
Radlett CC Won by 124 runs

Match report An easy win for Radlett on a night when the livliest piece of action came from a springer spaniel who interrupted the warm up by stealing the ball and bolting for the changing room.
The weather held but it rained heavily-just wides and no balls as Tring's very green team found it hard to locate the wicket. The batsmen had very little to hit and when Tring got the ball on the stumps on two occasions,Freddie and Rohan obligingly missed it.
The bowling really was dreadful but still I was disappointed with the batting which seems nervy and inhibited. We can do better but at the moment the boys would struggle to knock the skin off a bowl of custard.
Our score was massive-thanks to wides but a top score off the bat of 8 told its own tale.
Radlett's bowling was strong and far too much for Tring.I set the boys a target of 15 wickets and they managed a creditable 10.It was difficult for the boys to concentrate against such weak opposition but the bowling got a good workout.Everyone bowled well but as only one Tring batsman made the effort to strike the ball it was not much of a test.
