A lovely evening and a competitive match between 2 spirited sides. Chipperfield batted first and were initialy pegged back by some consistent bowling by Roohi Bhatti on her first game of the season but Alfie Hewitson led a fight back. Ria Rughani sustained an injury whilst bravely trying a high catch before Greg Simpole hit a wonderful 15 not out (most of it at Chelsea Long who held him off valiantly) leaving Chipperfield on 261 for 3.

The girls (augmented by Piers and Adyant) started consistently against a fast attack with Sahana hitting well. That boy Simpole took a couple of crucial wickets before Daisy Webster (captain - 15) and Chelsea Long (10) tried hard to catch Chipperfield but were denied at the last.
