Radlett CC U12 v Kings Langley on Thu 17 Jul 2008 at 6.00
Radlett CC Won 9 wickets

Match report Radlett went into the game with a makeshift team as most of the U12 squad went on holiday.Fortunately the boys who were available did a fantastic job, fielding with real enthusiasm.Kings Langley were second and had a core of strong players.
Bearing in mind we had lost to them earlier in the season ,this was a pretty spectacular demolition job. Will and Giles opened the bowling and reduced the visitors to 0-4 after two overs and 11-8 after 8 overs. Jack Dearlove again showed his value to the team by running out county player Cooke for 0 in the first over. Will and Giles then clean bowled the remaining batsmen bar the number 6 who was caught Will bowled Giles-quite a double act!
In pursuit, the pitch was sporting and Cooke removed Udeepa in the second over. U11 Jonathan Midgen then batted sensibly as Will smashed 3 boundaries in his 18 to finish the game in the 8th over.
Thanks to all the boys who turned out.Elias Taylor and Charlie Wharton debuted for the club and Jack Cox and Jonathan Midgen played their first U12 game.Well done boys-this is what this group of lads is capable of.
