Match report Another disappointing perfomance.On paper these were two evenly matched teams and we could and probably should have won the first game.On this occasion though we deserved to lose and were well beaten. The boys were lack lustre in the field and bowled really poorly.The batting lacked depth.The bowling figures tell their own story.There seems to be a lack of confidence in the side at the moment but as this does not manifest itself when we are thrashing weak teams I fear there is a lack of resolve when facing stronger sides.I do not think there is a lack of ability, more likely complacency after last seasons triumphs.
Attendance at training has been poor this year and I think the significant underachievement is linked.
