Match report Radlett qualified for the knock out stages of the competition with a cruching and professional demolition of a gutsy and sprited Shenley Village side.

With captain Ben Cherkas lined up for the Habs H Factor and Paras and Aaron en route from a school match, it was a good job the toss as won by Ben and he decided to bat.

With a watching all seater crowd Ben and Hardain set off at a rate of knots with Ben retiring on 52 and Hardain going for a well worked 37. Contributions from Rikin, Olly Jackson and Aaron allowed the score to reach 175. Best of the bowlers from Shenley was Williams.

Shenleys reply never really got going thanks to some superb bowling from Paras, who wants to play in County final having been the unlucky 12th man last year. With the result never appearing in doubt Aaron allowed everyone to bowl and give everyone a run out. Josh McFarlane bowled superbly again with his medium paced swingers proving hard to get away.

Olly Jackson managed to get 2 wickets and an injured batsman, with a high full toss.

Good fielding from the Radlett boys made it difficult for Shenley although Goldstein with a good 44 and McCusker with a hard hit 24 tried to keep the scoreboard moving.

A good professional prformance from Radlett, which allows us to progress. we must now concentrate and perform in each of the knock out games.

Thanks to Shane for bringing the rest of the Under 15 boys down to watch for 10 minutes, to Allen Mills and Andy Charles for umpiring and Tony Cohen for scoring the second innings.

It was good to see Daniel Cohen and Ben Charles from last years team watching and also great to see so many parents watching. This is great for the kids as they see the support.

I believe we can go on and emulate Uncle Tee Cee's Under 15's and retain the County Championship but we must work hard and be on the top of our game.
