Kings Langley v Radlett CC U15 on Thu 19 Jun 2008 at 6.00
Radlett CC Won Radlett won by 30 runs

Match report I am pleased to advise that Radlett are back on track with a controlled and decisive win at Kings Langley.

This was a must win game if we are going to top the table and batting first we posted a huge total of 157. Ben and Ollie Jackson opened and provided a great platform scoring nearly 8 runs an over.

The batting stars were Josh Charles with a fantastic 50 (retired – Not Out) and Rikin Shah who just missed out on his 50 with a swashbuckling 47.

Kings Langley started well with their opener, Andrew Burnell, scoring a fantastic unbeaten 52 out of their total of 109. Rikin Shah and Zakyr Osman opened the bowling and got the breakthrough after the 10th over. Mark Prestridge got a wicket with his first delivery. Rikin was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets in his 4 overs conceding only 12 runs.

This was a great team effort and shows the strength in depth within the under 15s and 14s within Radlett.

A personal thank you to Cory Dwyer, who played at short notice….. and Rikin, albeit injured, played brilliantly for the team.
