Match report The Abbots Langley match was forecast to be our “toughest test” to date this season …. And it was….

We batted first and posted a a score of 107… Aaron top scored with 34 followed up by Hardain on 17, Ben on 16 and Ollie with 12.

Unfortunately for the first time this season, our bowling let us down… we were going for nearly 7 an over after 10 overs with only one wicket taken…. With our backs against the wall we had to dig deep…..we fought hard but lady luck was not with us on Friday the 13th …. Unfortunately Abbots Langley won in the 16th over.

I believe the team have learned from the defeat and will be stronger for the next match. There is tremendous belief in the boys and we will win the next match vs Kings Langley.

The man of the match goes to Aaron for his batting and bowling performance. He was extremely unlucky not to get at least 2 wickets in his 4 overs (went for 13 runs)…. However special menion must go to Chapman of Abbots for taking 5 wickets



Will make sure we do not have another fixture on Friday 13th….
