Match report Congratulations to the boys for a great performance versus West Herts.

We batted first and put together a healthy total of 129. Star performances with the bat go to Ollie Jackson with 30, Paras Shah 23, Ben Cherkas 13 and Aaron Comfort with 11 (who was given out to a controversial decision by the Radlett umpire…. Aka his Dad)

The bowling was tight and the fielding at the beginning and end was strong…. with a fantastic one handed catch by Paras Shah standing out. The bowling was controlled with Aaron and Ben both getting 2 wickets and strong support from Paras (1 wicket) and Zakyr who opened the attack with very few runs conceded.

Areas of improvement:

Better communication when batting. Too many dubious calls and not enough conviction between the batsman.

Need to hear the team support one another when fielding. This puts the opposition under pressure and shows confidence.
