Match report RADLETT suffered another reverse in the league at home to Henley on Saturday as they were bowled out by former Zimbabwean Test leg spinner, Brian Murphy.

Murphy claimed 5-44 in an inspired spell of bowling and was backed up well by Henley's other new signings, David Taylor (2-41) and Hamed Sanna (3-43). Radlett's only meaningful contributions came from Dill (29) and Fielden (17) as the Herts side were bowled out for 131 inside 32 overs.

After being inserted on a reasonably placid pitch, Radlett were very disappointed with their showing with the bat and though the luck was with Henley on the day, some of the home batsmen contributed significantly to their own downfall.

The total was never going to be enough against the league leaders though Radlett showed some good spirit with the ball. Shane Burger was the pick of the bowlers claiming 2 for 37 but Ellison (47no) and Taylor (20no) saw Henley home comfortably and Radlett had much to reflect on after such a dismal display.

Skipper Nick Fielden said: "Our batting is not firing at the moment, it is that simple. Last year the same batting line up was making 250 plus every week so I'm confident we'll come good again. We have not all become bad players overnight but we do need to start performing with the bat as a unit. Everything will follow from there."
