Match report For the 3rd year in a row we were away to Boxmoor. The locals seemed to be a bit more under control this year with only 2 pitch invasions during the game. Wells won the toss (12/12) and decided to have a bowl. Some great bowling from Neil Lederman (6-52) and from Jez and Softy with 2 apiece saw the oppo fairly well contained to 186. In reply Radlett put in their usual heart stopping batting performance, being 62-7 after 25 overs. An inspired 90 run partnership from youngsters Lloyd Paternott and Shameel Ahmed saw Radlett to 152, with the chase still on. Lloyd went on to score a brilliant 108 which completely changed the dynamic of the game. However, an wild swing from Leds in the 49th over saw the 4s fall 5 runs short of the target in what turned out to be another exciting finish. Some very positive performances to take away into next weeks game against Southgate.
