Match report The weather ruined what might have been a very good game on Saturday between Radlett 2s and Old ALbanians first string side. OAs skipper John Smithers elected to bat first and the visitors came out firing with the run rate always above 5. Stuart Browne (2-59 from 19 overs) was the only bowler to hold them in check with the others struggling to contain with a wet ball and short boundary being significant cases for thei defence! They were also let down by dropped chances again and Radlett's fielding will have to improve if they are to have a successful year.

OAs delcared at the halfway point of 45 overs in a shortened match but a further stoppage costing 9 overs really robbed Radlett of setting about the run chase. A good base created by Nick Fielden and Scott John of 59-0 from 16 overs suggested that it would have been a very interesting and lively evening session but in the end rain and bad light had the final say. Handshakes all round after a competitive but good natured affair and 10 points for each side.
