In some very cold conditions, Radlett 2s prevailed in a good all-round performance in this 1st warm-up fixture of the year. The pick of the Radlett bowlers was Robbie Crocker who bowled very well for his 3-22 though Hasit Mehta also performed very creditably for his 3-42. All the fielders managed to keep their hands warm enough to hang on to a few catches too which was an added bonus!

In reply Karachiwalla and Cameron took Radlett within site of victory with some lusty hitting before a flurry of wickets left Crocker and Fielden to see the side home at the weather moved in. Crocker, having been fuelled by an outstanding Farnham Royal tea, was particularly fluent and timed the ball like it was August and not April to cap an all round impressive showing from the young man.
