Match report Radlett U13s returned to winning ways with this comprehensive victory.This was an opportunity to give everyone a bat & ball & see who came up trumps.We bowled pretty well.John Mansell took 3 for 3 in 3 overs.Kieran collopy took 2 for 4.Duncan sills had his first m,atch of the season & flighted the ball well.Vishnu Wagnani had an eventful debut for Radlett,taking a wicket with his first ball ,but unfortunately taking the ball full on his eye when fielding off his 3rd ball.He unfortunately had to retire hurt.It was nice to actually finish off a side which we did in the 18th over with a run out by Collopy.Nikhil Sharma also effected a run out.
In reply ,the batting order was changed .Jake jones was bowled first ball, but Kieran Collopy and Matt Roy siezed their opportunity to score 40 after 4 overs.killing the game .Kieran retired on 26 ,Matt scored 15.Marshall Cant had his first match for us since breaking his arm,& scored his highest score,26 not out.He also received a top edge onto his chin.Baiju Ganatra scored a patient 11 ,& Matt Soffair 14,caught.
So our three top scoring batsmen were all not regular batters ,making batting order selection a bit more tricky.A nice position to be in.
The game was continued after a result was reached for the benifit of the players' experience.
