Match report A fine opening performance by the girls was not enough to beat a well oiled and technically skilled Old Owens team.

The girls batted with spirit and tried to get the ball when they could, Ellie hit two boundaries in her score of 8. Sumita , Alex and Chelsea gritted it out. On the bowling front , fine performances by Georgie, Robyn and Lucy could not get the breakthrough that was required.

Special mention to Daisy who kept brilliantly and took a stunning catch in the process
