Radlett CC U12 v Abbots Langley on Wed 20 Jun 2007 at 6.00 RCC Win
Radlett CC Won Radlett 241-3 v Abbotts Langley 201-10

Match report
Radlett won the toss and James Lawrence elected to field.
Opening bowlers Khalil Osman(maiden over) and Manaal Akhaney quickly showed the opposition that their narrow victory last year was just a blip as in only the second over Akhaney struck with a wonderful inswinger that completely fooled their opener.
Not to be outdone, Ben Lederman charged in with fast and deadly accurate bowling to leave Abbotts reeling with 5 wickets gone after just 10 overs.Eager to make the best of a turning wicket, spinner Jay Lakhani added cunning and guile to the bowling to take two more wickets from his first over. Oliver Davis took the next wicket with his first ball and Corin Breckon was very unlucky to have a ball dropped in the gully - unlucky Corin better luck next time! Abbotts chins were down and when Radlett captain James Lawrence took the ball he showed no mercy to the tail enders leaving the last over to Manaal to clean up with the final wicket.Radlett gave away few extras thanks to the bravery and lightning reactions of Wickie Toby Amiel.
Needing very few runs to win, Radlett batting showed good discipline in their run taking and the occassional flash of the bat to easily reach the target score - although the last ball sweep of Lawrence nearly gave the manager heart failure.
A wonderful victory made more satisfying by beating last years league winners.
