Radlett CC U11 v Langleybury on Sun 24 Jun 2007 at 9.15
Radlett CC Won 21 runs

Match report Radlett dodged the bad weather to secure 20 points against a game Langleybury side.
Batting first the boys reached a creditable 110-4 in damp conditions.Joe,captain in Will's absence, batted well for 25 and was well supported by Jaimin, with 9, in an opening stand of 46.Harry,16 and Alex 11 made sure we would get over 100 before Giles and Joseph entertained the spectators with some hilarious running.5 runs came off the last ball of the innings when there was at best one run available. As Langleybury kept shying at the stumps, missing and not backing up it seemed that 200 was in our sights!
In the field the boys did enough in horrible conditions.Wet and cold, they could be forgiven for fielding more like their arthritic parents. Harry bowled tidily as ever, but the stand out performer and MOM was Luke Paice. Luke has worked incredibly hard in training and the improvement in his bowling was there for all to see as he clean bowled 2 batsmen.
WOM-Rachel who got down to the ground to open the pavilion at 9am while the onelegged manager convalesced in the warm and dry.
