Match report On A windy evening wiyh the nearby fair blaring out ,Radlett secured qualification for the quarter finals of the HCCA league with a comprehensive 63 run victory.An opening partnership of 57 between Shamit Nathwani (31 retired) ,& Parag Shah (20) gave Radlett the required start.Kailash Morjaria scored a rapid 30 retired & Nikhil Sharma (17) & Kieran Collopy 14no kept the run rate at 7.5 an over.
WE bowled tightly at the start of the Kings Langley innings. John Mansell took an early wicket,& then the scoring rate was kept to 4 an over.After 10 overs victory was in the bag & everyone had a bowl.Sagar Morjaria took 2 wickets ,Bhavich Shah one ,& the innings was completed by a magnificent onehanded catch by Matt Soffair off Shamit Nathwanis Bowling.
The team spirit is the best it has ever been ,& the fielding has improved markedly this season .John Mansell has captained thoughtfully ,resulting in a successful league campaign of 8 wins out of 9.It was good to see some support too tonight-we are an entertaining team to watch!
