Match report Radlett had their tightest game of the season ,narrowly losing to a bye off the final ball of the match.Kailash Morjaria & Shamit Nathwani had to withstand a fast opening spell .Kailash scored 17 before being run out on a tight single.Shamit once again scored 33 retired.Parag Shah(11) & Matt Soffair(9) scored scratchily &n 103 was a lower target than we would have liked.In response ,Abbotts scored briskly at the start,But lost wickets too.Kieran collopy took 3 for 8 in his 4 overs.John Mansell did well to trap the dangerous opener LBW.Matt Soffair took 2 caught bowled,one a juggling act.
In the last over we needed 1 wicket 7 abbots 8 runs.They hit 1 four ,a single & then got 3 byes off the last 2 ballsto win this exciting match.Our first loss means we need to win our next match against Kings Langley if we are to progress to the quarter finals.
