Radlett CC Lost 4 wickets

Match report On a cold cloudy day, Radlett won the toss and elected to bat. We decided to open up with the same openers as last year, Mike Crocker and Scott Lyall. Both got off to a steady start until Scott was caught for well earnt 11. In came Charlie Randall and made a 4 until being bowled. 24-2 was soon 49-2 until Rishi Toor was given out L.B.W for a steady 14. We then lost 7 wickets for 103 runs in 21 overs with Mike Crocker batting superbly for 35, Jim Clarke with 20, Mark Evans and skipper Jamie Well's both making 17. We finished 152 all out after 52 overs.

After tea Mark Evans and Scott Lyall took the new ball both getting off to a good start before Mark Evans Injured his hip and had to come off the field of play after just 10 overs. Toby Sutherland came on and bowled a good six overs . Charlie Randall and Jez Menzies also bowled well and the youngest in the team Ashley Tillett just 15 dowled exeptionaly well. Unfortunately we never really looked like winning and lost by 4 wickets. Still, 8 points we took from the game.
