Match report Secon innings and Hertford score 122 which is about par as the pitch has got lower and slower and the boys are tired, and the order was reversed.

Good opening spell from the Kakkads and a very good fast spell from Oliver (Jnr) Jackson. Ridley again scores heavily getting a lovely 31 befoere Cheran does him with a beauty, which hit top of off stump having pitched outside leg (Murali the second).

Daniel kept reasonably well as this allowed Nuj to bowl his Malinga's.

We need 110 to win and disaster strikes as we are 25 for 4 and it is down to Dean and Bherav to steady the ship with Bherav being particulkarly beligerent t0 keep us in the hunt, with a hard hitting 23. When he goes and is followed by brother Bhavin for an equally hard hitting 22 we are in trouble with 20 to win in 2 overs, but Hertford have forgotten about Hirsch. The man mounain strides out to the wicket and 6 balls later is out for 13 but we now only need 6 to win. OJ smashes Norfolk county player Perry for 4, nudges a single and leaves it for Dill to smash the winning run through mid on with the last ball of the day.

A great game, great opposition and good spirit from Radlett boys.

What a day, we must invite Hertford back to us next year for a similar tournament on the top pitch.

My thanks also to Don Piero for sorting out the 2 sides we were due to get out and for not replacing my boys with his!!!!
