Match report The boys march on to the quater final with this convincing victory over
Hemel Hempstead, still unbeaten, and with high expectations.
Rob Watson won the toss and decided to field, not knowing that 3 boys
were stack in a traffic jam, luckly HH manager agreed to wait, so the game
started 25 minutes late.
The 6 bowlers used were very economical, backed up by very good fielding,
HH batsman only managed to score off 33 balls, the only regret was the
amount of wides (11) which is 11 too many, most thight games will be won
or lost on extras.
Having restricted HH to 68 runs, Hasit Metha and Basil Letts opened for Radlett,
but found the scoring not easy as both were caught by the 7th over, Rob Watson
in at number 3 took a few overs to play himself in, and after that played some
great shots to finish on 35 no in the 13th over.
All the boys should be proud of their achievements so far this season,
my thanks go also the the younger players like Roshan, Sahill, Daniel, Anuj,
which played in some of the matches, where they hardly bowled, and never
batted, with a smile on their faces.
We have our last match against West Herts next week to seal the division title.
