Match report Last match of the season and once again Harry Benjamin won the toss and chose to bat. Another half-century opening stand from Adam Simon & Vishaal Patel put Radlett in a strong position. Benjamin & some late hitting from Tom Porteous ensured a competitive total of 125-6 from 20 overs. When Bushey batted steady opening bowling from Shyamal Patel & Zak Osman dismissed the first three batsmen and also ensured that Bushey fell behind the asking rate. A second successive man-of-the-match performance from Adam Simon saw Bushey in real trouble at 55-6, but Radlett then relaxed with the job not quite done. A good partnership developed between Clarke, who scored 26 not out and Rhys, whom Radlett had kindly lent to Bushey. This game was a good opportunity for Radlett to show how much they had improved since losing to the same Bushey side earlier in the season & they kept their cool to win with a little in hand. The game was played in an excellent spirit, with Radlett lending 2 substitute fielders to 9-man Bushey & also a spare batsman, who scored 24, while Bushey also provided a substitute fielder for the injured Zak Osman.
