Match report Radlett won the toss and batted on a firm pitch with a fast outfield. The early overs were a disaster, with the first three batsmen back in the pavilion without a run scored. However, Harry Benjamin and Tome Blazevski steadied the ship with a stand of 33. Hershil Lakhani and Nick Curran also reached double figures and the Radlett total progressed to 121-9, aided by some wayward St Albans bowling ans some late hitting from Neel Shah. When St Albans replied, Tom Porteous took an early wicket and a silly run out gave Radlett hope. Some poweful middle order hitting took St Albans to 64-3 until some fine bowling from Tome Blazevski in particular and also Hershil Lakhani brought about a middle order collapse, leaving St Albans 14 runs short at the end. A good win by Radlett, despite a little over-exuberance by the boys at the end.
