Match report Radlett won the toss and batted first against a lively attack. The opening U13 Potten End pair bowled quickly on a fast pitch, but the opening pair of Hershil Lakhani & Andrew Kilhams handled them well, allowing the extras to accululate. Hershil batted particularly well against bowling that was probably faster than anything he had faced before and the score mounted rapidly, reaching close to three figures by the 13th over. Hershil retired undefeated on 31 and although Alex was run out for 15, Vishaal Patel played another excellent innings, remaining undefeated on 28. When Potten End batted, Shyamal Patel struck in the opening over, but Potten End's top two batsmen scored quickly on a fast outfield. However, after they retired, wickets fell, particularly to Hershil Lakhani. Mark Spanjar did a tidy job behind the stumps and Potten End required 12 to win off the last over. A four from the penultimate ball meant they needed 4 to tie from the last ball, but Vishaal Patel fielded at mid-off and sensibly ran up to the bowler's stumps to end the match and give Radlett a thrilling 2 run win.
