Abbots Langley v Radlett CC U12 on Fri 19 May 2006 at 18:00
Radlett CC Won 23 runs

Match report rRadlett won the toss & batted first in gloomy conditions. Alex Kilhams & Tom Porteous put on an impressive opening partnership, taking 24 off the opening 4 overs, marred only by Porteous being bowled when trying to cart a straight ball out of the ground. The middle order scored more slowly, but generally kept their wickets intact and some judicious late stroke-play from Hershil Lakhani ensured a competitive total. When Abbots Langlet batted, some early wickets from Shymal Patel and Alex Kilhams put Radlett on top and although the later bowlers sent down a few more wides than they would have liked, a flurry of wickets from Hershel Lakhani kept Radlett on top, despite some impressive stroke play from the last Abbots Langley pair. The fielding was greatly improved from the first match, with tidy wicket keeping from George Wickham, solid ground fielding and no dropped catches.
