Match report A STUNNING team performance gave Division Three leaders Radlett II another victory on Saturday at home to Botany Bay.

Skipper Amjad Khan won the toss for Radlett and inserted Botany Bay, with his bowlers relishing the task. Heath Paynter and Nathan Jeganathan delivered tight bowling from the off and Bay looked dead and buried as they lost five wickets for 85 runs.

The Bay batsman were not going to give in though and McCabe hit 57 and Sutcliffe smashed 39 not out with some big sixes as the innings ended on 206-9. Radlett bowler Jeganathan delivered 10 overs unchanged and claimed 3-32.

In reply, David Robinson and South African star Muhammad Akoojee put on 156 for the second wicket. Akoojee was eventually bowled for 90 and Robinson went on to reach 78 not out as Radlett stormed to victory. Gray made 30 not out and, with Robinson standing strong, Radlett took just 33.5 overs to win with 209-2. Skipper Khan said: "It was a fantastic effort from Robinson who carried his bat through and played some glorious shots. Akoojee batted beautifully and there were boundaries all over the place."

Khan is hoping his side can continued their fast pace at the top but knows there are tough battles ahead. He said: "I think as long as the availability is good and we don't get injuries, we will be there or thereabouts. We have some big tests coming up but we have a fantastic spirit in the side and as long as we keep the winning streak going I'm sure it will get even better."
